Cowling/Fairings/Wingtips - Composite Rapairs (Fiberglass & Carbon Fiber)
AOA offers very cost-effective fiberglass and/or carbon fiber repairs to cowling, fairings, wingtips, and just about anything else made out of these meaterials. We will prepare the repaired surface to a ready-for-paint status and will prime and paint your parts if you wish. When finished, our repairs are guaranteed to be impossible to detect from the outside finish.

Builder’s Assistance
We will supply expertise and craftsmanship skills helping customers construct, assemble, and rig, experimental aircraft.

Ground and Flight Test
Helping customers transition from construction of their aircraft to getting their project in the air and collecting important flight parameter data in order to safely operate their aircraft for the coming years.

Instrument Panels
AOA will assist the customers at any level they desire relative to the selection of avionics, panel layout, construction, and wiring of their instrument panel.

Aircraft Wiring
Whether it is a complete wiring design or simply running pre-assemble wiring harnesses, we will assist the customer at what ever level he/she requests.

Engine Overhaul
If a customer needs our assistance in assembling a new engine or overhauling a used engine, we will provide the expert advise and assistance to best help the customer get what he/she needs and wants.

Modifications
Sometimes a manufacturer decides, for various reasons ranging from safety to convenience, that a modification to an existing airplane model is in order. We will assist our customers with the implementation of these modifications. There are also those times when a customer will want to modify his/her aircraft for his/her own personal reasons. We will also assist with these modifications.

Condition Inspections and Maintenance
The FAA has rules and regulations for the safe operation of both experimental and certified aircraft. Among these requirements are condition inspections (Annual Inspections for Experimental category aircraft). We will have certified mechanics and appropriate personnel on staff to perform and sign off these required inspections in the event that the owner/builder desires us to do so. We will also have FAA certified mechanics on staff that can perform normal and regular maintenance on these Experimental category aircraft.

Pre-purchase Inspections
In the world of experimental aircraft there are times when an individual is interested in purchasing a complete aircraft from another individual who has built it. The buyer, if not familiar with the aircraft to be purchased, may contact AOA for assistance with a pre-purchase inspection of the aircraft.

Aircraft Transport Arrangements
AOA will arrange and assist anyone with the transporting of an airplane project from any location within the continental United States to our facility or from our facility to anywhere within the continental United States.

Vintage Aircraft Restoration
We will restore or assist our customer in restoring any certified aircraft that was built before 1950. This will include everything from propeller to the tail – such as the airframe; covering and doping; instrument panel and avionics; landing gear; wiring; and assembly and rigging.
